Cast-in-Place Concrete Piles & Foundation Drilling

As a deep foundation specialist, Westco Drilling's successful completion of cast-in-place concrete piles projects has made us one of the most reliable suppliers in Western Canada. Westco's placement of steel reinforcement along with methodical execution of concrete placement allows for precise adherence to engineered plans and projects.

For structures with considerable weight, we drill large diameter shafts for wider concrete piles. Our drilling diameter ranges from 1'4"- 10' and up to a depth of 130'.

Casing, whether segmental, spiral, or straight walled, is used when soil conditions call for management of slough or water penetration into the drilled hole.

Belled Caisson

When soil conditions warrant and when engineered design requires belled piles, our wide selection of adjustable down-hole belling tools guarantees accurate adherence.

Socketed Caisson

If you require a deep foundation, we provide socketed caisson drilling for precise adherence.

End Bearing Pile

We have the ability to drill single-drilled shafts with large diameters to support the load offering both friction and end bearing pile. An end bearing pile is used when the hard strata is found at negotiable depth from the surface and the load is directly transferred to from the pile to the hard strata at the end of the pile.

Friction Pile

A friction pile is similar to an end bearing pile, but a friction pile is used when the hard strata is deep below a negotiable depth and the friction of pile surface with the soil is used to bear the load of the structure.
