Welcome to Westco Drilling & Piles Ltd.

Westco Drilling and Piles Ltd. was established spring of 2004 when Westco Construction Ltd. and Trevor Anderson joined forces. The partnership has been an ideal one as Westco Drilling and Piles nicely compliments Westco Construction, adding the ability to design, engineer and drill their own pile foundations.

Westco Drilling & Piles Ltd. has expanded it's equipment line with a Highway Model 60D track rig. This unit has not only given us greater capacity, but is ideal for confined construction areas where a truck mounted machine lacks both maneuverablity and productivity. We now have the capability of drilling piles from 6” all the way up to 96” in diameter and we can drill up to 60’ deep.

We find the demand for drilled concrete pilings increasing annually and Westco Drilling and Piles Ltd. is well placed to service this increased demand.

Recent developments in the wind power and electrical transmission industries have provided us with increased opportunities.

Recent completed projects include:

• Goose Lake Substation in Pincher Creek, Alberta
• Peigan Substation in Brocket, Alberta
• Lethbridge North Substation
• Transmission Line on 43rd Street & 26th Avenue North Lethbridge.

Westco Drilling and Piles continues to provide a full pile service including labour and equipment required for the layout, drilling, removal of tailings, supply, tying and placing of rebar, and supply and placing of concrete.
